Hobby: Sanguinary Priest Paint

Sanguinary Priest (final). Pictures and details to come after the break.

Paint:
Once again I did a skull white base coat with a blood red top coat. For his apothecary tool I repainted it white (took several coats) and then took a detail brush turned sideways to paint the symbol. All of the gold pieces were first painted with golden yellow and then burnished gold. The purity seals are all bleached bone and the writing is done by taking a fine detail brush with only the tip wet. His face was the hardest part. His hair was done by painting golden yellow on. His face was a base coat of white, then bleached bone, then scorched brown, then burnished gold, and finally bleached bone again. the base coat covered everything, the bleached bone covered everything, the scorched brown was done lightly and covered everything, the burnished gold was done very lightly and then dry brushed so that it was only in the deep areas, then the bleached bone was done extremely lightly and dry brushed around so that all of the other colors shown through, yet he still had a light complexion.
